Unreliable
“I order a table and chairs at the beginning of February. During the order I specifically mentioned that another store could not order the table I wanted and claimed it was discountinued. \n \nMy order was suppose to take 3-4 weeks. Week 4 I called and they told me the table was in but they were waiting on the chairs. \n \nWeek 5 I called and they said they tried calling me but that the table was discountinued and I could come by and look for something else. \n \nI waited to cool down before making a decision. I called back for a refund - no answer, so I left a vm. \n \nThree hours later I called again, they said they tried calling again but a refund was fine and they would process it. I received multiple calls and messages from other people during the hours when they stated they called me. \n \nI really liked the people when I first went to this store but with unrealiable service I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.” -

Horrible Customer Service! Poor Workmanship!
“We purchased a sectional, ottomon and a chair in 2009. We purchased a 7 year fabric plan and a three year extended warranty. When we called to have the furniture repaired because of the springs and wood frame being broken...along with the pads being flat and separating from the frame; they told us they would pick one piece up at a time. The chair was first. It was going to have more padding added. It came back with a rip at the seam where it was stuffed and a rip in the arm. The delivery men said they could not take it back. The repairman/estimator had to come back out. We said ok and they took one piece of the sectional- it was going out for the seam separating and the cushions flat- felt like you were sitting on wood. This left us with half a sectional that could not be utilized because of the middle cushion being removed. Ok then it comes back not repaired. The seat cushions had more padding. The seam was still separated and now there are two spots with fabric missing-looks like it was caught on something when the delivery guys picked it up. The third piece finally went out and came back not repaired. This time, we finally declined taking it. It was still not fixed! Ugh!! We called the store to get the worst customer service from the manager that I have ever experienced in my 41 years! He seemed to be fixated on the wear and tear vs the estimator approved it and it left our house one way and came back much worse! We our purchasing a much larger home and had considered Value City to fill our 4000sq ft home, not now!! I implore you not to waste your money! We are sitting here looking at half a sectional with the wood frame broken and the springs broken with the seam separated and a chair with rips all over!! SAD waste of money! On a positive note we just experienced the BEST customer service from Walmart regarding a televison!! Who knew??”
